About the Author

Mike Stone launched his consulting practice in 2005 after spending his early career in higher education. In addition to serving over 150 clients, he has written and taught numerous undergraduate courses in nonprofit management. Mike holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Louisville and a Ph.D. in higher, adult, and lifelong education from Michigan State University. His areas of expertise include strategy development, board governance, conflict mediation and developmental evaluation.
