We’re celebrating the release of the latest JoyPowered® book, JoyPowered® Networking!

Being JoyPowered® is all about considering where you find joy, a sense of fulfillment, excitement, and energy. Then, how can you do more of that? JoDee and her co-author Christine Burrows have strengths that make them naturally suited to networking, and they wanted to write JoyPowered® Networking to share their advice and spread the message that there’s some goodness to networking and it can make the world a better place!

We all need networks, and it’s better to build your network on an ongoing basis than to wait until you need those connections for something. The good news is that you can do it in a way that works for you. JoyPowered® networking is positive, focused on sharing, learning, and relationship building. There’s strategy and purposefulness to it beyond just adding LinkedIn followers and dropping names.

Networking can – and should – happen within your organization, too. It’s important to know what’s going on in the organization, how others are excelling, and who you can look to for support. JoDee and Christine share more tips around networking, including knowing yourself, practicing at home, preparing conversation starters, and going first.
