In episode 122 of “The JoyPowered® Workspace Podcast,” JoDee and Susan discuss JoDee’s new company, Powered by Purple Ink, with PbPI’s VP of Strategy and Operations, Christine Burrows.

JoDee has had a vision for years of helping, supporting, and banding together with other consultants in the people profession. This year, she’s expanding that vision in a more intentional way with her new company, Powered by Purple Ink.

Christine Burrows joins the show to discuss how PbPI works. Consultants will want to join this network for several reasons. It’s an opportunity to build camaraderie and network with other people in the people space. There’s an education component, where you can learn from pros in the industry as you grow your business. You can be marketed bigger than you might be able to market on your own. There are discounts. Network members will get a bigger bench and broader bandwidth, and the opportunity for referrals.

The vision for Powered by Purple Ink is for it to be an opportunity for people professionals to be bigger and better than they are on their own. Membership is open to anyone who wants to join, while preferred partnership is an investment in a high-value referral program. And if you’re just starting out, PbPI offers a startup program that can help you build a business plan, hone in on your offerings, market yourself, and even launch a website.

Corporate partners are also a key part of the network; they’re businesses who want to do business with the membership and their clients. They provide education and valuable services and products to the group.
